As promised, I had said that I would be returning as soon as the weather got warmer. Days are perfect in Toronto right now, and I'm trying to squeeze in as much outdoor time as I can. Each year I'm so surprised at how quickly the weather changes, it's like one day I'm freezing without a jacket and the next it's so hot people are wearing shorts out. Zero gradual change. Either way I have no complaints, and what better way to celebrate than with something sweet? The second photo is a shot of all the chocolate delicacies at The Firehall Confectionary in Main St Unionville. When it's nice outside, it's almost instinctual for me to pay a visit to Main St. I had my favourite banana split dippin' dots that day.. for those of you who don't know what it is, it's basically ice cream in the form of tiny little balls. Try it if you haven't.. it'll change your life. (For the time being, probably).

Currently,  I find myself engrossed in beauty and skin much more than apparel.. kind of obsessed with washing my face after watching this video featuring Isabelle Bellis. What is it about parisiennes? I'm actually pretty grateful that my skin's been good for the past half year or so. My skin was fine throughout highschool and then right when university started everything turned into a mess. Sometimes my skin would be completely fine, and then when exam period hit it'd get uber sensitive and irritated. I had suspected mangoes, shrimp, sashimi, and stress to be the culprits but since my skin has been good lately I decided to get experimental (so bad, I know), and eat all the things I mentioned. To my surprise, no reaction. It even stayed clear throughout exam season. So maybe it was just a phase of hormonal change or something weird.. I don't know. I'm just glad it's over.

No I don't actually, is your Balenciaga bought before 2007? Cause before 2007 they used to give you an extra pack of tassels, and after 2007 they changed the glue formulation so it wasn't supposed to split anymore.. however, one of my tassels did get ripped once and since I bought it from Holts they were able to give me some new tassels. I think you can also try to contact Balenciaga although their customer service isn't the best ..

Wow, that's horrible.. I've never had any major problems with my balenciagas. Did you buy it at Holts? Bring it back and let them know. If you bought it oversea then call Balenciaga customer service. Best of luck!

Hi Sally! :) First of all i love your blog, and you have impeccable style! :) haha the reason im posting as anonymous is because the question isn't completely relevant to this particular post, but an answer will certainly help me out! :) I'm getting married next year and my hunt for a wedding dress is on, and i was looking through old pics from the ACI prom, and i saw your prom dress. The wedding dress i would like would ideally be something that looks close to that dress, i was wondering if you could help me out by letting me know who the designer of the dress was, or where i could possibly get something similar :$ It would be a great help! Thanks Sally :)

Hey there, first of all congrats on getting engaged :) my mom brought me to this showroom downtown and they custom make dresses, so I actually had my dress made for me, it wasn't designer or anything. I'm not sure if the store is still open or the name, but it was downtown near Ossington I believe. Hope I sort of helped.. you can always find a good dressmaker to make you something similar!
