As promised, I had said that I would be returning as soon as the weather got warmer. Days are perfect in Toronto right now, and I'm trying to squeeze in as much outdoor time as I can. Each year I'm so surprised at how quickly the weather changes, it's like one day I'm freezing without a jacket and the next it's so hot people are wearing shorts out. Zero gradual change. Either way I have no complaints, and what better way to celebrate than with something sweet? The second photo is a shot of all the chocolate delicacies at The Firehall Confectionary in Main St Unionville. When it's nice outside, it's almost instinctual for me to pay a visit to Main St. I had my favourite banana split dippin' dots that day.. for those of you who don't know what it is, it's basically ice cream in the form of tiny little balls. Try it if you haven't.. it'll change your life. (For the time being, probably).

Currently,  I find myself engrossed in beauty and skin much more than apparel.. kind of obsessed with washing my face after watching this video featuring Isabelle Bellis. What is it about parisiennes? I'm actually pretty grateful that my skin's been good for the past half year or so. My skin was fine throughout highschool and then right when university started everything turned into a mess. Sometimes my skin would be completely fine, and then when exam period hit it'd get uber sensitive and irritated. I had suspected mangoes, shrimp, sashimi, and stress to be the culprits but since my skin has been good lately I decided to get experimental (so bad, I know), and eat all the things I mentioned. To my surprise, no reaction. It even stayed clear throughout exam season. So maybe it was just a phase of hormonal change or something weird.. I don't know. I'm just glad it's over.

birthday month

Haven't done a wishlist in a long time and since it's my birthday month I took a break from midterm-cramming to make a polyvore set of the random things that cross my mind as of late. Happy October!

Ecstatic that my favorite season is nearing once again.. I can never get enough of layers, knits, leather and ankle boots. I'm hoping to pick up some darker hues of clothing soon, not sure why but nothing screams fall more than wine reds, navy blues and forest greens.
Really obsessed with these camouflage pants at the moment, I knew I had to have them the moment we crossed paths. Surprisingly they go with almost everything I like at the moment and have the perfect fit. Perfect-fitting pants always seem to be scarce in my closet. Let the hunt begin!

phillip lim top, vintage belt, topshop jeans, alexander wang boots, house of harlow sunglasses, givenchy nightingale bag

What I've been up to this summer: brewing at least 2 cups of tea daily, buying an abundance of summer dresses, studying business law, eating too much watermelon, oyster and salmon, road-tripping, watching a ton of movies, and trying not to melt while doing the aforementioned activities.
It seems like forever since my search for the perfect pair of faded yellow jeans began, but alas we are together as one. Initially I saw these on the Topshop UK website and to my disappointment they were sold out, but as an obsessive online shopper I kept checking daily and to my pleasant surprise they restocked! Welcome home my pale new skinny jeans.
